Wildlight

Wildlight is a 2,900-acre master-planned community in Nassau County, Florida, located just east of Interstate 95 near Yulee. Developed by Raydient Places + Properties, a subsidiary of Rayonier, Wildlight is built around a "town in nature" vision inspired by 19th-century Florida Lowcountry architecture—steeply pitched gabled roofs, wide sweeping porches, and native landscaping that lets the surrounding wetlands and uplands shape the community. The plan calls for a mix of single-family homes, cottages, bungalows, and apartments from trusted Northeast Florida builders, alongside restaurants, shops, parks, and healthcare. Wildlight is anchored by two districts: the established Town District, which blends retail and dining among a variety of homes, and the new Garden District, a nature-centric phase where the Lowcountry concept takes root in the landscape. At the heart of the community's natural identity are the Wildlight Greenways—over 10,500 acres of Florida Lowcountry preserved in perpetuity—connected by the Wildlight Trailways, a network of paths eventually expanding toward 19 miles, including a route to the Green Ribbon linear park along the bluffs of the St. Marys River. Major employers and institutions have already put down roots here, including Rayonier's world headquarters, Florida Public Utilities, UF Health, Baptist Health, and a YMCA, along with a Publix, schools, and everyday services. A new major thoroughfare, Riverbluff Parkway, is expanding the community's mobility network of roads and multi-use trails. Twice the size of Nocatee and planned to build out over decades, Wildlight offers convenient access to I-95, Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, and Jacksonville—positioning Nassau County for long-term, sustainable growth.
